The past twelve months in our cashless economy have been a smashing success, largely in part due to our amazing members. The logo, the message, the purpose are all important, but it’s the loyal customers, or in this case the members, that really make BizX stand above the rest. Without such awesome support from our loyal members and fans we would not be where we are today. BizX was able to rebrand and complete the transition to full-fledged private currency, and it’s all because of BizX members like you saving cash and spending BizX. This past year we made major steps towards our vision of becoming the world’s strongest and most widely accepted private currency. But our vision is next to nothing without our guiding purpose, not to simply save people money, but to improve people’s lives and businesses. The rebranding was a huge success and our new logo has been met with phenomenal reviews, but to really see what BizX has accomplished you need to look at what we have helped our members achieve in 2014.

There are a lot of advantages to being a part of the BizX community, but one that we want to highlight today is the great economics of BizX, and how it grows top line revenue, while saving your cash and providing a great discount on the goods and services that your business (or yourself) needs.

We’re just a couple of days away from one of the biggest shopping days of the year and hopefully for us, our biggest Black Friday sale yet! For our third annual event, we’re expecting record participation, with over 50 confirmed businesses, offering deals on toys, apparel, gift cards, massages, car details and more. Our goal is to double our participation from last year to give our BizX businesses a head start on meeting their year end goals, while doing a little holiday shopping for themselves as well!

This week, 766 Seattle-based BizX members came together at The Foundry by Herban Feast, to kick off the holiday season with drinks, dancing and a little holiday shopping too! I’m thrilled to share that our members raised ¤22,973 for BizX charities by bidding on silent auction items like a football autographed by the Seattle Seahawks’ Richard Sherman. We love when our members can come together as a community to share with and help other businesses and the community.

Attracting new customers through advertising is a pillar that BizX and daily deal sites like Groupon and LivingSocial pride themselves on. Each helps clients leverage extra capacity and turn it into revenue. Though they share a common goal, they have two very different approaches. The daily deal sites center on the success of the single item or event offered. In contrast, BizX strives to better the long-term success of the business.
