Whether you are going out on the town with friends or family or entertaining important business clients, barter can provide a lifestyle upgrade and can help grow a business in the process. With a number of shows and packages available through barter, members of a trade exchange can purchase many entertainment options without paying cash. Not only are members able to entertain their friends and family, but many companies have provided employee or prospective client incentive gifts through barter. Putting on a corporate event at a big game or sending clients or prospects to a hip, Broadway production helps foster and grow business. Whether it’s a night cruise, river raft excursion or a show many options can be found through a business barter exchange.

Many ticket brokers and entertainment companies happily accept barter through a trade exchange. Tickets are perishable inventory so if those seats aren’t sold for cash, the potential revenue is lost forever. Not only are these companies able to fill otherwise vacant seats at events, but they also attract new clients who many not have purchased tickets if they weren’t available through the trade exchange. There are often empty seats at hit shows and sporting events, but by opening these tickets to barter exchange members, ticket brokers are able to fill empty seats. They can then use this extra revenue to buy products and services from other members of the exchange, therefore offsetting the cash outlay traditionally needed for these expenses.

James Kimel from Epic Seats, a member of BizXchange, noted that, “BizX is not only a great way for our business to sell tickets, it is a powerful marketing and branding tool. BizX gives us access to many of the top businesses and their owners in our region. We are finding it works as a great way to get the word out about our company and its services.”

Companies have used their trade dollars earned through selling tickets for website development, program printing and advertising. Through leveraging seats on trade, companies can save cash and attract new clients with these marketing initiatives purchased on trade.  A new member of the BizXchange network recently commented that he “finds himself wondering why he wasn’t leveraging with the BizX market years ago.”
